Question : I am 6 week pregnant and doctor suggest sustan sr 400 mg release tablet 1 in vagina I use tablet but tablet not release in my vagina whole tablet come out morning why can I use this tablet orally

Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
The preparation of progesterone you have been prescribed has to be used vaginally only and this vaginal tab cannot be used orally. However there are oral tablets also available which can be used.
You may use MICROGEST 300mg SR once a day orally. It has the same progesterone and shall serve the same purpose. You can discuss it with your prescribing obstetrician and get it prescribed by him/her.

This is a to be vaginally used tablet of susten and hence not recommended for oral use. If you want to switch then use the one i mentioned earlier for or use daily.
