Brief Answer:
slow reduction

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I am Dr Mittal.
I have read your query.I think I may be able to help you.

The idea of reducing the drug, any drug, is too go slowly about it.

The medicine dose is reduced slowly. The reduced dose is continued for a period of time.
Then it is tapered further.

However, I am unaware of the dose you are on. So I can't suggest a more specific schedule.
Also, you need to meet the treating doctor first, to make sure that you don't need the medicine any more.

Best of luck
Dr Mittal.

Brief Answer:
First confirm that you don't need the medicine

Detailed Answer:
First of all, I think it would be a good idea to confirm that the medicines are not needed any longer. Otherwise, the withdrawal can only harm you.

If you are sure that it can be stopped, only then can you think about stopping them.

How long have you been on the medicine?

Brief Answer:
Will have to be slow

Detailed Answer:
Has not a doctor started the medicines?
I think you can start reducing the dose.
You have been on the medicine a really long time.
It will be difficult to taper, and we will have to go more slowly.

I think you can start with reducing the dose to half per day.
Continue this for almost 2 months.
Then reduce further from there

Best of luck
Dr Mittal
