Question: Hi, I'd like to come clean with my family physician & get on Klonipin for my benzo addicion (that he helped fuel) & Suboxone for my Opiate addicition & either stay on Ambien for severe insomnia or figure out how to get off of Ambien as well. My fear is that if the new regimens don't work he wouldn't let me just go back to the good ol' good ol'......??

Brief Answer:
Hi suboxone and ambien both are good.

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear

I admire you for positive outlook.

Very glad to see you.

Opoid addiction and withdrawal also lead to insomnia.

1st step is to cut down opoid and treatment of it withdrawal.

Suboxone is one of the best medicine to treat withdrawal and gradully you regain your natural sleep after few weeks of replacement thaerapy.

Klonopin is also very good for benzoaddiction and if you dont have withdrawal then shift to ambien for insomnia.

Ambien has very less addictive potential and very useful to treat insomnia.

As per my opinion you have to stick on suboxone and if require then take ambien for insomnia.

Still you have query then feel free to ask.

Happy to help you.

Thank you.

Thank you for answers. Just saw. This interface isn't that great. My other other concern in the FIRST question is, what is the demeanor of Drs these days about wanting to quit, but if treatment is worse than disease, I might want to just say screw it & go back to what hasn't been working for me. Might he let me or go ape conckers & say "My way or the highway! - It's happened.

Brief Answer:
Hi there is no scope for surgery.

Detailed Answer:
Hi

Thank you for revert back.

No There is no any indication for surgery.

It will gradually improve with medicines.

Suboxone will decrease craving for opioid and will improve general health.

You can take klonopin if you feel better with that but caution to use in proper dose because it has high addictive potential then ambien.

Thank you.

Take care.
