I am dropping the trazadone, what I want to know is it safe to just drop it since its only been 2 weeks or do I have to lessen it gradually. thank you
Brief Answer:
Taper the doses gradually over 2 weeks
Detailed Answer:
Hello thanks for choosing HCM for your health related queries
I can understand your problem. The drug helps in good sleep but it failed to work in your case probably because your doses of Xanax has been reduced. You are taking the drug since 2 weeks only so this would not result in any serious withdrawal symptoms but you may suffer mild withdrawal so I would advise you to taper the drus doses. As per my opinion 2-4 weeks would be sufficient to taper the dose and withdrawal will be smooth. Discuss with your psychiatrist for detailed prescription.
Thanks, hope this helps you. If you have more doubts please ask again.
