Question : Hello,
I have to have an upper G.I endoscopy. And, I don't want to be aware of this at all!!!!!
I have read articles where they say that a patient has to be cooperative and able to take instructions, i.e. swallowing. Is this true? Or can I request something to make me not aware of it at all? If so, what would I request?
Thank you, XXXXXXX

Brief Answer:
you can prefer endoscopy with short sedation
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Obviously there will be little discomfort during this procedure. If you are not comfortable, you can ask your doctor to do it under anesthesia. Definitely he will consider it. Under anaesthesia, you will be unaware of the event.
Hope this information help you.
