Question : I suffer from vitiligo in two areas, around eyes and penile.
I have pro-topic 0,1%. Since using it i've noticed a bit of depigmentation and a new area small area of re-pigmentation.
I didn't realise you shouldnt apply too often. Usually I would do twice a day, but recently fours times a day, also I apply quite a bit.
Should I apply only once a day?
My dermatologist recommended to only apply around eye, but I read it is ok to put penile area?
Please advise, and that it is safe what i've done so far.
Thanks

                                    Brief Answer:
you can apply it safely
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Welcome to Healthcaremagic.com.
I have read your query.
I understand your concern.
Pro topic is tacrolimus. It is an immunomodulator drug with very wide safety profile.
It can be applied over sensitive parts of
Body also including eyes, lips , genitalia.
Ideally it should be applied in night time but there is no harm in applying two times day.
Do not panic so much. Nothing is going to harm you if you have applied it multiple times a day.
But now onwards make it twice a day as advised by your doctor.
I prefer to advise its application once a day in night time over the affected area.
I hope I am able to solve your query.
Take care.
