Question : How well does the IPL laser work for getting rid of sun damage and brown spots? And are the results permanent? Do the brown spots re appear after while? Since they are years and years in the making, I don't think new ones could appear in say a year or two. So do the same ones resurface? Is it worthwhile?

I have gone through your query.
IPL is effective in treating brown spots and sun damage.
Multiple sittings are required to produce significant results.
The results obtained are permanent and upto 70 percent improvement can be expected.
The brown spots don’t reappear immediately but as the ageing process is continuing they will slowly and gradually develop.
The same ones won’t resurface and it is a worthwhile procedure.
