Question : hi am currently pregnant and have in my past before pregnancy had 3 ablations in the heart. One for a-fib, one for avnrt, and one for an extra "wire" in my heart. Now in my third trimester, I am 33+3 now i have been feeling more and more dizzy and higher pulse. 2 weeks ago I wore a holter monitor for 2 days- and now in my journal I can read my answer - but i can't talk to my doctor until next friday due to holiday. So I need some help reading the answers. They write had the monitor shows Sinus Rhythm with intermittent other atrial rhythm between 85-172. Approximately 1500 multifocal VE (is this the same as palpitations?) and 1500 is a lot or?No SVT...so what should I read from this

Brief Answer:
Please refer to the detailed answer below

Detailed Answer:
Hello Ma’am

After going through the medical details provided by you I understand your concern and would like to tell you that as per the details provided by you of your holter report things looks alright.

Most importantly there is no recording of any event of AF (atrial fibrillation). Rest of the finding are simply atrial or ventricular ectopic which do not require much attention as such.

Now coming to your concern that whether 1500 VE are significant or not, No they are not as they happened over a period of 2 days. VE are a common findings in young female and even more common in pregnancy.

So you just need to relax as stress and anxiety can also triggers these ectopic beats.

Hopefully this information will guide you properly

Kind Regards
