Question: I VERY RECENTLY HAD A LARGE HERNIA REMOVED WHICH WAS ON MY LEFT SIDE. BEFORE THE SURGERY, I WAS EXPERIENCING PAIN THERE AND STRANGELY A QUIVERING,RATHER STRONG WITH PAIN.. MY SURGEON REMOVED THE HERNIA; WE BOTH THOUGHT THE HERNIA WAS THE CAUSE. WELL A WEEK LATER THE QUIVERING HAS STARTED AGAIN BUT NO PAIN.. THE QUIVERING , WHICH I CANNOT FEEL ON THE OUTSIDE, FEELS LIKE A FAMILY OF MEXICAN JUMPING BEANS HAVING A BRAWL! LOL

As per your description,you got operated for Hernia.Pain will be seen in Hernia when the bowel or Omental fat enters into the sac of it causing Obstruction.
But,the Quivering could be due to muscular contractions.This may be due to your age.As there is no pain, nothing to worry.If it persists,skeletal muscle relaxant tablet containing THIOCOLCHICOSIDE will help.
