Question : I am just 28 years old and i am getting white beard. Is there any method to stop it? May i know, what could be the reason for it?

Thanks for writing in.

White beard or hairs is called canities.

Causes are mostly hereditary and genetic in nature.
There is not much of effective treatment for canities.

Calcium pantothenate and PABA supplements are said to be effective in some cases.Vitamins , minerals like copper and zinc, amino acids supplements may halt progression of canities.

Treatment however is to be taken for long term and is not uniformly effective.

Dyeing of hair can camouflage canities.
Also electroepilation of selective white hairs can be done.
