Question : Hi, I am pregnant, and have been advised a ultrasound sonography to be taken tomm. My last periods occured on 16th august. However i need expert opinion on - which week is ultrasound sonography preferred ? thanks

hello,
You are approximately 5-6 weeks pregnant.You can definitely get an ultrasound done.An ultrasound is needed in the early pregnancy to make that fetal cardiac motion is present. Usually it appear between 6-7 weeks.You can get the ultrasound withing the week.
