Question : I am 5 weeks pregnant & having a tooth decay. I went to a dentist and he did a dental X-ray on my teeth. I didn't know X-ray shouldn't be done in first trimester. Now I am worried if it can affect my baby. Although I was wearing a lead apron when the X-ray happened. Please advise what can I do now.

Well a single x ray of teeth that too after wearing lead apron is not going to have deleterious effects on the fetus..

So you need not to worry but be cautious of not going for repeated x rays..
