I Am 55 And Look Pretty Young For My Age

default

Question: I am 55 and look pretty young for my age (I think due to my oily skin...lol) But, I tend to watch tv lying down with my neck bent downward and I use my laptop looking down alot and my neck is starting to show age from this. I have a bit of a double chin/saggy skin (although I could lose a few lbs I am not really overweight) and my neck is developing creases. What can I do to stop or improve this issue with creams, supplements or excerises? I am trying to avoid having to go in an office at this time due to covid but what minimally invasion procedure might work good for this?
what is a non surgical face lift and what do they cost?

Brief Answer:
Aging skin syndrome

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Welcome to HCM,

I read history thoroughly you provided and understood your problem.. You seem to have stress and worry regarding sagging and wrinkling of the skin. But, remember this is just physiological skin change related to the aging.

Aging changes in the skin are the developments that occur as people grow older. Skin changes are among the most visible signs of aging. Evidence of increasing age includes wrinkles and sagging skin. Whitening or graying of the hair is another obvious sign of aging.

I would recommend you to accept the reality which occurs naturally with us. Still, if you want to have some applications to improve the look of wrinkled skin, I can suggest you to apply glycolic acid 6% cream at night and vitamin E containing cream in the morning daily for few months. Along with this, you may do daily exercise of neck like extension, flexon, rotation etc regularly.

You may consult plastic surgeon to take opinion regarding double chin and discuss what he can do to improve the look of chin. You may also consult the dermatologist for Botox injections which can be used to reduce wrinkles on the face.

I hope this may help you…best wishes.

Thanks.
