I Am 61 Yrs Old, Exercise (ride A Recumbent Bike)
Question: I am 61 yrs old, exercise (ride a recumbent bike) daily with no chest pain, have been vegan for 12 years and vegetarian for 30+ years before that. I don't drink or smoke. For about 3 months I've been having middle, and left side middle, back pain when I belch. It doesn't happen every time I belch, but very frequently. I can also feel it when I feel something moving down my esophagus. The pain is like an ache that builds as the gas builds and once I belch it goes away. It is not severe by any means and I don't have any other symptoms.
I had blood work done in XXXXXXX and, other than a very slightly elevated A1C and BUN/Crea ratio (per my doctor most likely due to dehydration) everything was good. My CRP is 0.3.
I'm assuming this is a digestive issue, but someone mentioned cardiac so I thought I would ask here.

Hello
After going through the medical query raised by you I can understand your concern for your health and I would like to tell you that your symptoms primarily points towards gastric issues however taking age into consideration it’s important to rule out underlying cardiac pathology because cardiac symptoms can also mimic the same way.
Kindly get a basic cardiac evaluation done which should include ECG and echocardiogram. You can upload these reports for my review.
If cardiac screening comes out normal the consult a gastroenterologist for further evaluation.
Kind Regards
