I Am 76 Years Of Age And In 2005, I

Question: I am 76 years of age and in 2005, I had a total prostatectomy by a leading urologist using the DaVinci machine. Prior to the surgery, I had a biopsy which disclosed cancer in two places in one lobe and one place in the other. I believe the Gleeson scale was 7 and the cancer was of the aggressive type.
My PSA remained less than 0.01 for about 12 years. In May of 2018 my PSA was less than .02; in January of 2019 it was .02; in February of 2019 mu PSA was less than 0.1; in April of 2020 it was 0.015 and in December of 2020 it was 0.019. Given this information, do you believe the cancer has returned, or do these PSA readings not indicate any return of the disease. I am in otherwise good health.
Thank you very much...Gene Tumolo

Brief Answer:
There is no evidence of relapse

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

These PSA reports are normal as expected and hence doesn't show any concern for relapse.

Slight variation in level is always expected.

Hope this helps.
