Question : I am 88 years old - female - for many years my blood pressure was under control with Avapro. A few months ago at my annual physical exam my blood pressure was 66/82. I would like to find out why it is no longer under control.

Thanks for your query.

I would suggest you to first recheck the BP values.

Take average of three readings taken on different days at different times when not under stress or strianeous physical work.

This will be you baseline reading.

We shall discuss based on that reading.

One occasional reading would not be sufficient to decide on anything.
