Question: I am a 24 year old with minor asthma and Chrons Disease. i work with small children at a day are, should i be extrmely concerned about COVID19? My work has already announced that closing will most likely not happen. We are in XXXXXXX

I have gone through your query and here is my opinion.
You should only be concerned about COVID 19 if you had a suspected exposure like an out of country travel (specially to countries of south east Asia,China,Iran,Italy etc which are severely affected)or contact with persons who were there in the affected areas.
You should not panic and do take all the precautions against corona.
The symptoms of Corona are fever,cough,headache,running nose and breathing difficulties and it spreads by droplet infection.
Avoid going to crowded places,practice hand hygiene,use alcohol based hand sterilizing solutions,avoid hand shakes and cover your nose and mouth while sneezing.
Also avoid repeated touching your face.
Medical science has not yet been able to formulate a causual association of corona with co morbities (like hypertension,diabetes,COPD,Asthma etc).
Good news for you is that for unknown reasons,pediatric and younger age group has been least affected by corona infection,till now.
