Question: I am a 43 year old female with good health; however, for the past few weeks, I wake up with as sharp pain across my pelvic area when I sleep on my stomach. I have no other symptoms.

The pain only occurs when I sleep on my stomach. I do not feel a lump on my lower abdomen. The pain lasts for 30 minutes to an hour after I get up.

The most probable reason I can think of is:
Ovarian cyst getting twisted in a typical position and getting to normal after some time.
Hence I would advise you to get an ultrasonography of whole abdomen and pelvis in particular.
