Question : Hi,
I am a female aged 45. I went to the hairdresser yesterday and she shaved the back of my neck but even worse the sides of my face under my jawline. I am fair skinned and fair hair but now worried as the side of my face is prickly that the hair is going to change from blond fluff to dark bristles. Please advise if this will occur after one time shaving using electric shaver as I am really freaking out. No I am not vain generally but really don't want a beard. Not sure which doctor this question should go to.

I read about a prescription called Vaniqua to reduce hair growth? Is that a good idea? Is there any negatives or side effects? Or any other medication that will prevent hairs growing back thicker or darker? I am on Dianne 35 pill already to prevent face hair?

Vaniqua can be used for reducing hair growth, doesn't have any side effects

Detailed Answer:
Yes vaniqua can be used for reducing hair growing.
It has to be used twice daily for 5-6 months.
It doesn't have any side effects.
Diane 35 is sufficient to reduce hair regrowth.
Along with this you can take tablet Spironolactone 50 mg once daily.
It is a prescription drug and should be taken under the supervision of the doctor.
