Question : I am an alcoholic and I entered hospital on Sunday night to detox with IV fluids.

This is my fifth day sober and I am experiencing serious tiredness and weak legs. Is this normal or should I go see a doctor.

Dear Ma’am, I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but unusual tiredness and weak legs are not reported as side effects of alcohol withdrawal. However alcohol withdrawal can cause fever which can cause unusual tiredness, so I would recommend that you measure your body temperature.. I hope you find this helpful..
