I Am Concerned About Endometrial Thickness And Cancer Did A Biopsy And It Came Back I Had A Polyp A Year Later An Ultrasound, The Report Indicates My Lining Is Now 8mm On One Side 9 Mm On The Other Is This Normal?

Question: Hi ,
I am concerned about endometrial thickness and cancer.
I have had pelvic pain for over a year, and some spotting. A year ago I went to my normal gyno, he did an ultrasound and said my lining was thick, 11mm . He did a biopsy and it came back I had a polyp and he said that was common and normal and I had some cysts that were probably causing the pain. Now a year later ,I still have pain, I switched drs . New dr sent me for an ultrasound, the report indicates my lining is now 8mm on one side 9 mm on the other

Brief Answer:
Biopsy report is normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have seen the attached report. The endometrial biopsy report is normal and is not suggestive of any cancer. The intermittent spotting that you have can be related to cervical lesion- Can be ruled out after a PAP smear, fragile and dry vaginal mucosa- Due to postmenopausal changes or a vaginal infection- Needs a vaginal vaginal swab culture. You need to discuss regarding further investigations with your gynecologist to find the cause.
