Question : I am currently on Losartan for HBP and have been for 3 years. I was on Benicar previously, when I was employed and had insurance.After being laid off, I had to "re-think" my medications (I am A Pharmacist). Which of the alternative choices for losartan should I ask my physician to consider. I am due to a refill on my losartan, and to date, have had no problems with the losartan (my blood pressure on 4/8/19 at MD appointment was 120/82). Any suggestions that are affordable?
