Question : I am experiencing symptoms similar to coming down with a cold. Nasal congestion, slight sore throat and it feels like it maybe moving to my lungs. I usually take advil to help with the symptoms. I am wondering if I should not take anything to see if this is leading to a possible covid 19 infection. Your thoughts?

I can understand your concern.
I don't think it is Corona infection because of absence of fever, cough and calm sore throat.
It is simple cold.
Don't take advil.
Watch for fever, sore throat and cough.
If you develop any of this symptom in next 1 week then possibility of Corona infection is high.
But if you fail to develop any of the above symptom then no need to worry for Corona infection.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated. Do warm water gargles and steam inhalation 4-5 times a day.
