Detailed Answer:
Hello there,
Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...

Well, if this is the first time you're experiencing this, then it could be due to some muscular sprain around that region...

For symptomatic relief, avoid twisting/bending the neck and right hand as well as the shoulder, a sling for immobilization could be of help...sit in an upright posture and rest as much as possible...apply some analgesic spray (e.g. Volini spray three times daily over the affected region)...Do NOT massage, just simply apply it...

Take a mild painkiller like Tab Paracetamol 650mg after some food twice daily for some symptomatic relief...If the pain doesn't subside despite this, stronger prescription-based painkillers may also be needed based on the clinical examination by an Orthopedics thereafter...

Kind Regards
