Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your query and here is my advice.
As per your history, it may be due to cold.
Please let me know,
Do you have a history of heartburn, fever?
Are you taking any other medications?
Heartburn can also cause dry throat. In that case, you can take tablet pantoprazole and syrup Mucaine-gel after physician consultation.
Along with that Avoid hot and spicy food. Avoid smoking/caffeine/alcohol.
Continue steam inhalation and saline gargles.
You can use sugarless gums. Keep yourself well hydrated and take a soft balanced diet.
Hope I have answered your query...
