Question: I am having major cramping in my legs from mid thigh down to my toes. I do have restless legs at night but at the end of my day my legs are swollen and pain is unbearable. I do have restless legs but the problem that has been going on for the last 4-6 months is starting to get to me
I am almost 65 years old female and still very active and work 6 hours a day

In my opinion, swelled legs at the end of the day and leg cramps with pain may indicate poor blood circle of the legs such in cases of venous insufficiency, arteriosclerosis, etc.

It is advisable to get evaluated further in this direction by getting evaluated clinically by your primary care Doctor and by tests such Doppler ultrasound of your legs.

Restless legs syndrome usually isn't related to legs swelling and unbearable pain.
