Question : I am having pain in my left pain that surged to worse pain every two minutes.

Hi! Welcome to Askadoctor forum. Thanks for sharing your concerns with us. We will try to help you in best way possible. First of all it's sad to know what you had been going through lately.

Based on the history you have shared, it seems to be neuromuscular pain on the basis of its character and description, but for reassurance any heart related issues should be ruled out on examination as well as baseline EKG.

You may also need to have X-ray cervical spine to look for any signs of nerve compression at its origin.

Meanwhile OTC analgesics like acetaminophen or Ibuprofen alongwith muscle relaxants like tizanidine or orphenidine can be helpful for symptomatic relief. If pain is severe more potent analgesic like tramadol or gabapentin may be needed. Wishing you a speedy recovery. Regards
