Brief Answer:
It could be mumps

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

From your description it seems to be mumps or an inflammation of parotid gland.
I need more details about your symptoms so that I am better able to help you.
Since when do you have the symptoms, where exactly is the swelling, is there any fever, any other symptoms, etc.

Mumps if a viral infection and gets better by itself in few days. Vaccination against mumps is protective and can be given to your contacts (family and friends).
You can consult a surgeon for confirmation of diagnosis and further management.

The pain started 4 to 5 days back. the pain is exactly on the extreme
right side neck joint.
I had swelling on my neck prior to that as well.
