Question: I am having severe back pain..... I am having a history of disc bulge at L4-L5. It got settled months ago by exercises and rest.Now I suddenly got immense pain in the same region...what should I do now?

Its possible that the disc bulge is again causing problem or it maybe something else. Since its a severe back pain, it requires orthopedic visit again. For now avoid sitting or lifting weights. Take rest. Take appropriate painkillers like voveran and muscle relaxants. Drink lots of water. Back strengthening exercises under guidance of physiotherapist or osteopath.
