Question : I am having severe itching on front neck to jaw bone. It has been happening every week for usually 2 days. I have tried topical medication and nothing helps. This has been very uncomfortable and keeps me awake. I am 65 you female

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Severe itching could be a result of many conditions like allergies to cosmetics, psoriasis, lichen, etc. It may also be due to kidney or liver disease.

Kindly let me know details of your symptoms
- Does it have any accompanied rash?
- Do you have any medicines, etc?
- Do you have any past history of allergies, diabetes, kidney or liver problem etc?
- Have you done any tests? If so kindly upload reports.
- What have you tried till now? How much did it work?

Meanwhile you can take an oral anti-allergic medicine like allegra and apply steroidal cream e.g betamethasone.
