Brief Answer:
Could be muscle spasm in the neck.
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
I am Dr Gopal Goel , Orthopedic Surgeon.
I have read your query and MRI Impression also.
In my opinion you have muscle spasm left side of neck due to degenerative changes in the spine .
Since you already have MRI - No further investigation is necessary.
Treatment consists of pain killers , muscle relaxants , Local Heat and Physiotherapy- IFT and Neck Muscle Strengthening Exercises. If you continue with exercises , recurrence is uncommon.
Thanks for the question. I hope to have answered your question. Please feel free to ask any other question.
Thanks.

What pain killers, muscle relaxant should I take?
Brief Answer:
Pain killer
Detailed Answer:
Hi ,
I generally prescribe Etoricoxib 90 mg to my patients ( pain killer) with Thiocolchicoside 4 mg as muscle relaxant. It may cause sleepiness and muscle weakness. So you may not be able to drive or lift weights when taking this medicine.
Prescription cannot be provided on online platform. You may consult a local doctor for prescription if needed.
Thanks again
