You are taking 2 mg of xanax per day and I believe it is a small dosage to treat your anxiety and panic attacks.
I think you better take 3 mg per day taking a tablet of 1 mg three times daily.
Also if the situation is not yet under control you can increase the total dosage to 4 mg per day after 3 to 4 days of 3 mg.
Many patients have been back to normal using 4 mg of xanax.
You can consult your psychiatrist because it can be provided only by prescription.
