Question : I am taking 5 mg of Rapipril once a day. I am worried about weight gain. I exercise daily, and stive to remain thin. Please help me with this question.

Hello,

ramipril may indeed cause weight gain but this is not a common complaint. Your doctor cannot predict whether you're going to gain weight or not. You can only find out by trying! Even if you do gain some weight, stopping the drug will help to lose the excess weight. Exercising and eating healthy will help as well.
