Question : I am taking Microlut. I had sex the night before last and missed my pill last night. My period is due in 7 days. do i need to take the emergency contraceptive pill?

Though this does not corresponds to your ovulation period(if your cycles are regular),but you had sexual exposure (which was unprotected),near the time of missed pill,I would strongly suggest you to take an emergency contraceptive pill.

Though it can be taken with in 72 hrs(3 days) of exposure but earlier the better.
So please don't delay.
