Question : Might Ian takingatorvastatin 10 mi. For cholesterol. I have put on 10 lbs in the last month.. Been on this for a month and a half. Heat disease runs high in the family. I feel kie I di bet without taking this. I did exercise a lot befor taking, and my appetite has increased a lot. When can I quit taking this?

Hello,
If you can manage the cholesterol status with diet modification and exercise then no need to take drugs.
Do a fasting lipid profile and if the total cholesterol is below 200 and triglycerides below 150, you can very well stop atorvastatin.
Continue exercises and avoid fat and oily foods.
Do lipid profile every month to assess the progress and you can restart the drug if needed.
