Question : Hi Doc

I am a homosexual man. I had some encounter with a male who's HIV and STD status are unknown to me. During the course of action, no anal intercourse and no oral sex was involved. He was naked and I was on underwear. Just foreplay and kissing was involved. Recently after week or so, my left feet got swollen and doctor told me that there is nothing alarming from X-ray, the swelling may be due to some infection.

I am worried about sexual event and it's relation to my feet swelling. Am I worrying unnecessary?

Your HIV risk is negligible only.

Hi,

Foreplay has no risk for HIV/STI even if that individual is HIV positive individual. Deep kissing may have a negligible risk if that individual has HIV and if he is not on treatment. Superficial kissing has no risk.

Feet swelling and pain without any reason worrying me. Now I am taking medication for the same. Since it's a new place and weather us very harsh, is it due to that or any other injection may cause this??
