I Awoke This Am A Little Dizzy, Feeling A Little

Question: I awoke this am a little dizzy, feeling a little short of breath, not bad. Then I had nausea and vomiting. I thought because I had taken my am meds on an empty stomach. My forearms bilaterally feel now like they have tight bands around them with some numbness. I can still type obviously. Vomited again. Having some minor mental status changes. I read the time on my car correctly but could not say it - but then corrected myself. I could not pronounce Linked-in. I have a history of SLE and we think migraines - though not typical. Feeling of ice on my lip. Thats it. I am a DNP student in Leadership and Admin. I have been a RN for nearly 29 years.

Welcome to 'Ask A Doctor service'.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advise.

The vomitting, mild slurred speech, dyspnea, mental confusion all points towards possible cardiac cause or mild transient ischemic attack.

You need to investigate with EKG, cardiac troponin estimation for primary work up.
Your chest detailed examination also needed to guide you further.
If needed than after examination your doctor might suggest you CT scan like higher investigation.

Tissue hypoxia due to cardiac problem can lead such presentation.

If all comes normal than inner ear infection can be possible and confusion,numbness could be due to lost electrolytes. But you cannot take risk and so consult nearby doctor immediately.
