Question : I believe I may have Addison’s disease. I looked up my symptoms online, particularly hyperpigmentation, and everything pointed to Possible adrenal malfunction. What’s the best way to tell you my symptoms to diagnose?

Thank you for your response. I definitely have 4 of those symptoms. What is a synachten stimulation test? And how do I communicate with another doctor to voice my concern and my wish for a synachten stimulation test?

Hi again,
Synachten test consists in doing an injection that stimulate adrenal glands to produce cortisol and after 1 hour cortisol level is checked.
You need to see an endocrinologist in person and explain your symptoms, he will for sure recommend it.
