Detailed Answer:
Hi Peterjshield,
Kidney stones can increase in size over time. The most important question is how much the stones bother you and how? Have you tried extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy for kidney stones? Any medications?
Looking forward to hearing from you.

The pain is excruciating (10) for at least 6 hours a day. Please tell me more about the shock wave treatment you mention.
I am only taking (prescribed)Paracetamol 500mg.

Brief Answer:
Ask a local urologist
Detailed Answer:
Hi again XXXXXXX
Shock wave lithotripsy is simply high frequency waves that travel through your body to be absorbed by the stones that are crushed. It is associated with some discomfort, but harmless. You should ask your urologist - or get a second opinion from another urologist - to find the nearest place possible for this treatment.
Hope this helps. Please let me know if you have further questions.
