Question : I cut the my finger tip (no nail) off 2 weeks ago and the doctor stitched the cut piece back on as a biological dressing. It is slightly warm and itchy around the stitches and tender to the touch. Some stitches have come detached. I can't tell if it's more red than it is supposed to be. I wash the wound with soap/water, apply bacitracin, and rebandage twice a day. Does this look normal to you or infected?

Brief Answer:
It looks infected.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
As you describe it looks infected. After two weeks it should have been mostly healed and shouldn't be neither tender to touch nor red or itchy.
Please attach the photo at reports in order that I can see it even though I mostly sure.
Hope I have answered the question.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
Thanks.
