Question : I drank heavily the night before my blood work (from 4-11) but I did fast for 12 hours (11pm-11am). My AST and ALT numbers were very high. Could this be because of the drinking I did the night before?

My AST was 83 and ALT was 120. How bad are those numbers? I’ve been drinking 6-8 beers a day for 5 years. I’ve quit completely now and having tests done again in 4 weeks.
