Question : Hi, I experienced what felt like head flutters, followed by head aches, started to struggle not to fall asleep whilst driving in the last week, my inside of my right arm looked like it was bruised but it appeared to be the veins, that has subsided. I'm 48 going through peri-menopause. I have an under active thyroid and am sitting at 14 for my iron count. Currently take iron tablets, multi vitamins, vitamin c and thryoxine daily.

Brief Answer:
Changes in blood pressure to consider.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
In my opinion, your symptoms were caused by a temporary lowering of blood pressure.

Any arrhythmia also may be an explanation.

Perimenopause and thyroid gland dysfunction may affect blood pressure levels.

So, it is necessary to monitor your blood pressure and heart rhythm for a few days in order to understand correctly your condition.

Holter monitoring is an appropriate examination in such cases.

Discuss with your Doctor these issues.

Hope you found the answer helpful.
