Question: I feel so disinterested these days, feeling low , loosing energy at work , feeling so inactive.
I have trouble concentrating things. I was looking for a right help or guidance where I can regain my energy or good place to start.

I can understand your concern for the symptoms you are experiencing. Sometimes, low levels of thyroid hormones can cause changes in mental functioning and also trigger digestive issues.

It may cause fatigue, weight gain, muscle and joint pain, mood changes, feeling of disinterest, weakness, and low energy.

It may also cause anxiety. depression. lack of interest or feelings of indifference, less attentiveness, concentration problems, and slower thinking and speech.

You are suggested to get clinically examined by a GP, get T3, T4, TSH done. You will be required to get done few more blood tests. Thereafter, you will be accordingly treated.

Do continue to take vitamin D and B12 tablets. Avoid anxiety and stress(physical & emotional). Get at least 8 hours of sleep. Sleep deprivation and hormonal problems may also cause such symptoms.

You are advised to reduce your caffeine intake and stay away from addictions, smoking, alcohol, etc. Practice effective stress management techniques. Get connected to a Physical therapist. Massage therapy, talk therapy, CBT are helpful.

You are suggested to practicing healthy lifestyle and healthy eating, it will help you to improve poor focus and concentration.

Exercise regularly, get plenty of quality sleep, and eat highly nutritious foods such as fruits, vegetables, and sources of lean protein. It will help you get rid of the symptoms you are experiencing.

Make new friends, engage your self in reading or writing books or poems, hear to quality songs/music, go for outdoor picnics and hiking.

Take a break from life for a while, be gentle with yourself. Give yourself a little time to recover. Rejuvenate and re-start.
