Question : Hello. I felt a weird bump on the inside of my lip about an hour ago. I felt the inside of my lips with my tongue, and it feels like it is connected to a vein. I think it’s a vein that’s gotten enlarged. I can also feel it pulsating. It is not painful at all, but I’m worried.

It could be Haemangioma or Mucus retention cyst

Hi
Mucus retention cyst is one of the commonest swelling over the lip.But,it is not pulsatile.
Swellings arising from Artery like Haemangioma will be pulsatile.
These things will be differentiated by clinical examination by a Surgeon.
So, please consult a Surgeon and proceed further.
If it is Haemangioma,it can excised surgically.
