Question: I get very infrequent (maybe one or two a year) ocular migraines that don't last long. About a year ago, I had one that included a slight loss of certain words, and I went in to ER: the symptoms were basically already cleared up, but they called it a TIA. Yesterday I had similar instance, but lesser as far as coming up with certain words. Can ocular migraine include this type of symptom?

Brief Answer:
Get evaluated for stroke or transient ischemic attacks

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
Speech involvement or dysarthria usually is not common with migraine.
At this age first possibility is stroke or transient ischemic attacks.
Rare variants like hemiplegic migraine or confusional migraine may present with similar picture.
Better to get examined and evaluated for stroke as it is life threatening.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
