Question : I had Lyme didease that was not detcted early, lipids my pc did shoed no sign,m it was onlym after I requested to be checked for it was it dicoverd. After doxycicline the symptoms abated somewhat but a year later, I suffer muscle and joint mpain that is debilitating. I had doublem TKR and my knees hurt and strenght has diminished . The VA dr. seems to take my complaints with a grain of salt thugh at times the threshhold of pain hits ten on the scale and keeps me from doing my duties, even reaching causes about an eight on the scale.

Dear sir I have gone through your question and I understand your concerns but it seems that you are suffering from chronic Lyme disease. which. an manifest by aching joints or muscles that may or may not be accompanied by joint swelling.. This can be diagnosed by a blood test of the titer of antibodies against Lyme disease.. If found high then you should refer to your doctor for a prescription of a long course of doxycycline..
