Question : I had a HIV scare ( mutual masturbation and I had a cut on my hand the guy says he is negative but I dont know if I can trust him). I took two Qualitative HIV-1 RNA test ( one at 9 days from the incident and one 22 days after) and both came back negative. Should i still be concerned about having HIV?

I have read your query and here is my answer .
As you have undergone viral load test at 22 days ie more than 3 weeks .
It is sure test for 95 percent people .
Usually fourth generation test detects HIV antigen by 4th week after exposure ie 24 days .
So I suggest repeat 4th generation test for HIV antigen after 7 days .
Hope for the best.
Till then , stay relaxed.
Take multivitamin antioxidant combination .
