I Had A Bed Bug Infestation From June-mid July That

Question: I had a bed bug infestation from June-mid July that was treated by a pest control company twice, as well as a heat treatment done. Everything has been fine since, but I did bring a piece of furniture from my garage that potentially though unlikely the bed bugs could of been transferred. The side table was put in my bedroom around 2 weeks ago. I also have a cat, who I didn't treat for fleas for two months, and there is obvious flea matter on my bed cover, even after vacuuming it, but not sure if the small black dots are potentially from bed bug extrament as well? I have found bite on my lower legs/ankles, on my arms, and also have bites close to my anus. They itch, and I also have welts on my face around my hair line. I went to the dermatologist last week and he said I had impetigo and gave me anti bionics and ointment that I started yesterday. On my chest last week it looked like a rash, and I had a few red bigger bumps on it, and by my neck. I cant remember if the bites (small) on my lower legs started before I bought the furniture from the garage in. I had scabies last year, and the bites are not the same. The bed bug bites this summer caused me to have an allegic reaction and big welts that I ended up in the ER from. Also, some of the bites are just 1-3, single bites here and there, others seem to be bigger, other small, and some rash like. I have been under a lot of stress, had terrible insomnia for 1-2 months, and extreme anxiety. I do have a tendency to "pick" on my face, so not sure if possibly the bums there are a reaction to that? I feel itchy all over, and Im really worried about what is going on, since I am supposed to leave out of country in a week from today. No new medications started when this first was obvious. Possible bed bugs again? Or flea infestation? HELP!!!

Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using the Ask a Doctor service.

I have gone carefully through your query but find no reason to panic. I would request you to upload an image of the affected areas and I would help you accordingly. However, I am quite certain that it is not due to flea infestation or bed bugs as for all probabilities your doctor would surely have identified them had they been due to bed bugs or flea.

I would await your response.
