I Had A Dislocated Open Fracture On My Right Foot.

Last night I wore some tight, slip on leather boots. Had them on for about 6 hours. After 2 hours I could feel intense pain in my right foot. The foot felt like it swollen right up in the shoe and gone really numb and painful.
My question is does this increase blood clot risk? By wearing tight, painful shoes over a dislocated open fracture that has now healed? I could tell that the shoe considerably cut off blood flow to the foot once it had swelled up. The veins looked all swollen and red when I taken the shoe off.
So does this increase blood clot risk? and if so how considerably?
Also, is it normal for a dislocated open fracture injury to still be very swollen after 2 years? It was already really swollen before the tight shoes incident last night?
I've uploaded a picture of the foot.
Thanks
Not likely to cause clots.
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
Wearing tight shoes can block the blood supply thus causing the swelling. This is not likely to cause the clots as long as you are XXXXXXX
The persistent swelling even after two years can be due to decreased venous drainage due to scarring after the surgery. You can keep the foot elevated on a pillow while sleeping and see if it disappears in the morning.
I hope this answers your query.
