I Had A Question Regarding My Eosinophils Levels. Last Month

Question: I had a question regarding my eosinophils levels. Last month I went to the doctor for abdominal pains had a imaging test done which showed sludge and polyps on my gallbladder. I followed up with my gastroenterologist who said he saw not needs for concerns. My eosinophils levels were 6.2 at this point. Fast forward a month and a half I had some routine work done through my cardiologist to check cholesterol and other things. During the 10 days or so before hand I began taking COq10 as I was told it could help lower cholesterol. When my blood work came back my eosinophils levels were 21.2 they checked them two days later and they were 20. I have looked online and naturally it is a lot of stuff that I don’t want to see. I was wondering if the supplement could have caused this increase? I’m 30yrs old have IBS,asthma, and high blood pressure. Still waiting to get scheduled with a doctor to follow up on everything just wanted to see if I could get any opinions beforehand.

Brief Answer:
Asthma can cause

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.

High eosinophil count is mostly due to benign causes like allergy and parasite infestations. Since asthma can be associated with allergies, eosinophil count can be raised in people with asthma.

It's not due to CoQ supplement.

You will need an examination and few simple investigation to rule out any parasite infestations and then may be a course of anti allergics to bring it down.

Hope this helps.

I had a stool same done which came back negative. Would this be enough to rule out any parasites as I have not felt unwell other than what seems to be a sinus headache on and off for the last two weeks. How often or quickly do these levels fluctuate? Thanks in advance for your time and assistance.
